If you have not visited The Old Cross, Chichester, this post explains why you should

The Old Cross Chichester

Is situated at 65 North St, Chichester PO19 1LP  and is a Greene King Pub.

Greene King Pubs are known for  their hospitality and certainly The Old Cross, does not disappoint on this front at all

Its opening hours are from

Monday through to Thursday to 11pm

Friday 11am to Midnight

Saturday 11am to Midnight and finally…

Sunday, it is Midday to 11pm

As you enter the pub, you are immediately struck by the warm, friendly enviroment, with the bar situated directly in front of you

To the left of the bar, is a compact, but cosy eating area, located on the ground floor and a slightly upper raised area, which comprises table and chairs

To the right of the bar area, is a more relaxed lounge area, which really does almost feel like sitting in your own lounge at home

What is noticeable is that there are 4 wall mounted TVs, so no matter what your sport passion is, then one of the TVs will cater for your taste, unless of course, you prefer the company of your loved one, either way your choices are well covered.

The bar, stocks a varied selection of Beers Wines and Spirits, which are all competitively priced and there is also a comprehensive food menu, which again caters for all tastes and budgets

The food is all freshly cooked and when served is absolutely delicious and more importantly, leaves you filled up, compared say to the local Wetherspoon situated just round the corner, which always leaves you feeling you have been short changed food wise. or at least that is my opinion

Friendly bar staff, who have good local knowledge  greet you and make you feel welcome with a warm smile and are courteous as well, which makes you feel you want to stay longer than the time you perhaps allocated for your stay, for example if you are on a break from the office and only have an hour to spare

It is highly recommended
